Meet **Richelle Dela Cruz**, Senior Manager for [Quality Assurance](https://weareeverise.com/glossary/quality-assurance/) at Everise. Richelle shares some of the activities she enjoys at home with her family and how she adjusted to work-at-home life as a new mother.   In her eight-year stay with Everise, Richelle experienced a lot of changes in her life but working at home as a new mother was something that she didn’t expect. With the ongoing pandemic situation, she took extra measures to keep her family safe. At first, she had a hard time adjusting to their new situation, but she eventually found activities that she could enjoy with her family. > “We avoid going out because we have a baby to take care of, so during our free time and during our rest days, my husband and I would just spend some time watching movies. Staying at home is fun, even if there’s just the two of us.”   Working from home also gave Richelle and her family the opportunity to work on their house. During their rest days, she and her husband would think of new ways to beautify their home and make it better for their new-born son. As a new mom, Richelle also enjoys the extra time she gets to spend with her family while she’s working at home. > “During our spare time, we think of how we can improve our house. When we had the work-at-home setup, it was quite different. I thought I wasn’t going to manage because I’m just inside the house, but it worked perfectly fine because I am a new mom, and I get to spend more time with my son.”   Richelle also shares what made her stay with Everise for so long. She claims that the people she worked with were the main reasons why she loved working for Everise. For Richelle, her co-workers are more than just officemates; she also considers them as her second family. > “The primary reason I’m staying in Everise is that I love working with the people around me. I belong to a very competitive team, and I am reporting to direct supervisors who are very compassionate and very considerate. Especially right now that I am a new mom, and I consider them as my second family. “   Richelle values her experience with Everise and considers it as an important part of her career growth.
