As a global experience company with locations across the globe, Everise has access to many people of diverse backgrounds with different stories. One such Everiser is Juan Enrique Dubois, training lead at the Everise Guatemala City Experience Center.
Born in Guatemala, Juan Enrique grew up in the US before returning to his homeland. His impeccable command of English has served Juan Enrique well in his career in customer support.
Before joining the Everise family, Juan Enrique worked as a mall Santa (not his favorite past job) and later as a chef. His specialty is Italian cuisine and his secret weapon dish is ravioli.
“I would say the weirdest job that I’ve had, I actually worked as a Santa Claus in mall. I did not have the actual beard, so it was glued on. I kinda knew where I was going with my whole look after that,” he said jokingly.
“The beginning of my career actually started as a chef. I do have a masters in Italian cuisine. I did that for almost 6 years and then I had the opportunity to transcend into a more interactive customer service, so I transferred from the kitchen to the phone.”
Juan is a strong asset in Guatemala. He credits Everise for giving him the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally.
“My experience here at the company has been nothing but good things. I’ve grown a lot in regard to professional, more personal as well. It really forms your character into the person you want to become in the future.”
At Everise, we ensure that we put the spotlight on the people behind our success. That’s why we are featuring employees from different walks of life and shedding a little light on the people of Everise. Learn more about our Guatemala Experience Center and our people just like Juan today!
