On top of being a Licensed Health and Life Insurance Agent, she religiously accompanies her dog to training to become a therapy dog. It is not just her dog that goes through training, she herself partakes in it. On days that they are not in training, Fran keeps her lovely dog in tiptop shape. “My dog and I undergo training to become a therapy dog. I say ‘we’ because they also teach me how to work with her to become a therapy dog. When I go home, I go through all the work for the week until we go back to training,” Fran elaborates. One of her passions, which she shares with her canine sidekick and her team in Everise, is caring for people from a nursing home near the Everise office. That’s what actually encouraged her to train her dog to be a therapy dog. “In our site here in McGregor, we go to the local nursing home which is right up the street. We visit the patients there which is fulfilling for me,” Fran sharing her experience in visiting a local nursing home. Having the opportunity to do her passion is one of the things that she loves about working at Everise. Unlike her previous experiences, she found fulfillment through the tight-knit relationships that she built. Her journey with Everise started unexpectedly when she saw a billboard ad of Everise. “I was working in a job that wasn’t really fulfilling. It was 15 miles away from here and on my way home I saw a billboard saying ‘Come work at C3 (*An Everise Company*).’ I wrote down the phone number and I called.” For Fran, it is the awesome community in McGregor Everise that made her stay the most fulfilling. *At Everise, we ensure that we put the spotlight on the people behind our success.
