Determined and strong-willed. These are just some of the words that describe Doyal Bennet, Training Quality Manager of Twin Falls at Everise. Like most of us who are shaped by our heritage and family, Doyal credits his Celtic heritage (both of his parents are of Scottish-Irish descent) for shaping his character and outlook in life.

“I really utilize the stubbornness and that I get from my Celtic tradition in a way. I won’t let anyone faze me. So, if there’s a problem or something, I’m just not gonna be like ‘well, I can’t do this. I quit’ and just walk away.”

This sheer determination and strong character are the core foundation of his work mantra and what makes him so good as a Training Quality Manager. Seeing people push their limits and overcoming every challenge on their path motivate Doyal in continuing what he does in Everise.

“As a trainer you actually have people coming into this call center might not know how to use the computer. They might not know how to type very well. So, you kinda have to have that stubbornness like, ‘you know what you’re gonna pass this class and I don’t care what I have to do.’ I used to tell my classes all the time, ‘I don’t care if I have to drag you kicking and screaming through the mud, you’re gonna pass this class and you’re just gonna do just fine on the floor.’”

Being this tough and determined on his job is also evident in the activities that he loves to do outside of work. Whenever he has time, Doyal likes to go camping abnd play highland games (a heritage from his Scottish-Irish background), or just any outdoor activity.

“I’m huge in camping and really enjoy being outdoors. But one the things that I do is called the highland games. Basically, if you’ve watched Braveheart, that scene where you see the guy throwing rocks, lifting up tree trunks and cabers trying to get them to turn over... that’s part of my heritage and history because my family on both sides are both Scottish-Irish.”
