Customer Service Specialist by day; musician by night. These basically sum up
Dee Sullivan, one of our Everisers at Austin Experience Center. When she’s not helping out customers, she’s probably writing a song about her day. Dee’s heart and determination in following her passion is a testament that you can pursue anything in life.
Like most of us, music is Dee's outlet for self-expression. And her music is reflective of almost every aspect of her everyday life.
“What attracts me to making music is its life. Every day is life; every day is a story; every moment is a blessing. I incorporate everything into music and it’s my form of expression. I write about breakfast; I write about lunch; I write about dinner. I write kiddie songs. I write songs for everything. And that for me is my greatest form of expression.”
Dee's inspiring outlook in life is channeled even in her work as a Customer Service Specialist at Austin Experience Center.
“The most interesting part for me on a daily basis is each customer that I interact with because I know each conversation is going to be different. So, I enjoy even the challenging cases because usually I am able to resolve those and make the customers happy. And even with the happy cases, sometimes when get those, it makes me have a better day as a specialist.”
Aside from the inspiration she gets from her day-to-day interactions with her customers, Dee also credits Everise’s uplifting work environment for its overflowing positivity every day.
“Here lately I am more inspired by joy. And actually, spreading peace and positivity. I feel like we do need more of that and that’s one thing I love, we’re so positive here. And the vibe is really, really awesome.”
